HAP Hangers are made from automotive-grade, powder-coated spring steel and are designed for use with any pipe or stud material. They work seamlessly with inside-wall applications, combining a hanger and stud guard in one. With a single snap and securement using just two screws, installation takes about seven seconds—holding and protecting pipes with unmatched efficiency.
The HAP Hanger can also be turned and applied as a surface-mounted solution. Simply install it, then snap the pipe in. All small, regular HAP Hangers from 1/2" to 1" are concentric.
- Inside of the wall: Measure 3/4" from the front of the stud and drill with a 1-1/4" bit to create a slightly larger hole for a smoother transition. Since all small sizes are concentric, you can easily decrease to 3/4" or 1/2" without offset
- Outside of the wall: Place the HAP Hanger on the wall, secure it with two screws, and snap the pipe in. Since all small sizes are concentric, you can easily increase to 1" or decrease to 1/2" without any offset
- Quick installation: Each HAP Hanger can be installed in about 7 seconds for inside-wall applications and about 10 seconds for outside-wall applications.
- Powder coating: Prevents galvanic corrosion and allows HAP Hangers to be used with any pipe material
- Meets existing construction codes: cUPC listed and SGS certified for voltage above 480V
